How to be Successful: 3 Things you Need to Know

“Why do some people succeed, whereas others fail or give up?”
I think I’ve heard this question somewhere already, and you?
Maybe this is because we all share something in common, and this is the desire of being successful and important. But not many people are able to turn their dreams into reality.
The good news is that success can be achieved, even though it does not come easy.

To reach high levels of success, you must start to develop theimage habits of highly successful people.
Success requires constant hard work, an excellent time management, resilience and motivation – and these are common traits of efficient people, who managed to have a successful life.

There are some steps you need to follow, in order to develop the outstanding person you want to become and to feel satisfied and proud of who you are.

1. Write every day a to-do list and stick to it
First of all you should increase your self-esteem by taking action. You have to fill your days being as productive as you can, in order to achieve your goals.
A very useful tool that can help you organise your day is the to-do list.
It’s also very important that every day you cross all the items off your list.
If you can make this your daily goal, you will achieve a lot in the long run.
Plus, taking action will make you feel more confident, since it will show you what you are capable of.

2. Think big!
Second, remember to think big.
This is, you have to set big and realistic goals if you want to improve yourself and your life. You have to raise your standards, this is the only way to create success.
This said, don’t be too afraid of failure.
If you are too afraid of what the risks might be, you will stay forever in your comfort zone, and you won’t be able to raise your standards.
Plus, you won’t learn that much, and you won’t see any progress.

“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” Henry Ford

3. Do what others don’t like to do
Last but not least, I would like to share with you the most important secret of successful people.
According to Albert E.N. Gray, the common denominator of success – the secret of success of every person who has ever been successful – lies in the fact that the person formed the habit of doing things that others don’t like to do.

In other words, these people Gray refers to, one day decided to eliminate laziness and procrastination from their lives.
They started taking action, they created success investing in their competencies and managing their time, to achieve their long-term goals.
If you can do this – and believe me, you can – you will be able to dramatically change your life.

You have to train yourself to be constant and to never give up, to focus on your goals and on your desire of becoming successful, even though you will face difficult moments.
In those moments you will have to focus again on your goals and on how much you desire success; you will have to train your resilience, and you will become stronger in order to achieve more and more in your life.

I hope this post will help you to find the right motivation every day.
Have a nice day, and don’t forget your to-do list!

The “POMODORO TECHNIQUE”, a magic bullet for your productivity

Have you ever heard of the “Pomodoro Technique”?
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s and it’s named after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer that he used.

The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks (4-5 minutes).pomodoro technique, productivity

The intervals are known as “pomodori”, the plural of the Italian word pomodoro for “tomato”.
The method is based on the idea that frequent breaks can improve mental agility and ability to focus.

Plus, this improves exponentially your productivity. The secret is just to set the timer for 25 minutes and to stay extremely focused on whatever you are doing (studying, working…) for this interval, avoiding all distractions.

(!) Remember: no matter what happens, you have to avoid ANY distraction that may interfere with what you are doing, and focus.
When you will start using this technique, it will surprise you: in 25 minutes you will do what you now normally do in one hour!
Can you imagine the amount of work done after 4 pomodori (100 minutes)?

Try the technique and let us know your result leaving a comment here.
Enjoy your pomodori!
