A low self-esteem could often be a problem and an obstacle for our achievements.
Our self-esteem is often influenced by health problems, negative life events such as losing your job or getting divorced, frustrating relationships, and a general sense of lack of control.
This sense of lack of control is often particularly marked in people who are the victims of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, or of discrimination on the grounds of religion, culture, race, sex, or sexual orientation.

However, it is possible to control the way we feel about ourselves, and to change it dramatically if we really want it.
Now we are going to see together how to make it possible through the 3T Method:

1. Take Action
If you don’t do anything to change things, no one will do it for you.
Take your life in your hands, plan your day with a to-do list and stick to it.
You will see how something this simple has the power to change the quality of your daily life and your self-esteem.
When, before going to bed, you will read your to-do list and will realize that you have done everything you had to do, this will strongly improve the value that you give to yourself and to your abilities.

Nothing builds self-esteem and self-confidence like accomplishment.

2. Take Care
Pay attention to your personal hygiene: for example, style your hair, take a shower every day and floss your teeth.
Dress in clothes that make you feel good about yourself.
Remember that the way you look is your business card.
This is very important. And it’s not a secret.
But most people don’t understand that it’s the foundation of a good level of self-confidence.
The way you treat yourself is the first thing people see. If you look good, you will immediately give a good impression to others. And the most important thing is that you will feel it and this will automatically increase your self-esteem.
However, if you don’t take care of yourself people will think there’s something wrong with you, and the worst thing is that the way others interact with you may strongly affect the way YOU feel about yourself.

Remember to exercise everyday, eat well and drink a lot: you will have more energy and feel more positive.
You will step by step create a very positive attitude, and this is a great way to boost your self-esteem.

3. Take Up A Hobby
It’s time to learn something new!
There are many hobbies and if you want to choose something original you can read this article.
Having a hobby will be really good for you, because it will make you feel better.
When you will succeed in what you do, this will help a lot to improve your confidence.
Set yourself a challenge that you can realistically achieve, and then go for it!
Examples of new hobbies might be learning to play an instrument (piano, harp, guitar, bass, drums…), practicing a new sport (soccer, volleyball, tennis, latin dance…), learning a new language or starting to volunteer.
There are many things that you can do, you only have to find out what you really enjoy.

Confidence has nothing to do with what you look like. If you obsess over that, you’ll end up being disappointed in yourself all the time. Instead, high self-esteem comes from how you feel in any moment. So walk into a room acting like you’re in charge, and spend your energy on making the people around you happy.
